Absence and deputy
If you are on holiday or away for a longer time, your documents should not be left waiting. Record your absence in invoiceR. invoiceR does not detect absences by itself, not even from your email program.
Who takes over my tasks?
Section titled “Who takes over my tasks?”During your absence your deputy receives your tasks in addition in their task list. The tasks also stay with you; whoever processes them first completes them.
Your deputy comes from one of two sources:
- From the rules: in the assignment rules and the approval rules, your administrators can store a deputy for each rule.
- Personal deputy: if allowed in your organisation, you set your deputy yourself (see below).
Your internal administrators know which variant applies to you.
Recording an absence
Section titled “Recording an absence”- Click your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select Personal absences.
- On the Absences tab, click New absence….
- Enter the first and the last day of your absence.
- If required: switch to the Deputy user tab and select the person who stands in for you.
- Click Save.
You can record several absences. To remove an absence you no longer need, delete it in the list and save.
If you forgot
Section titled “If you forgot”If you did not record an absence before your holidays, your administrators can do it for you afterwards. How this works, and what applies if your deputy is absent too, is described under Managing absences.
