Log in to the app

In the invoiceR app you do not enter a user name or password. You log in by scanning a personal QR code. You get this QR code in one of two ways:

• you display it in invoiceR in your browser, or
• your administrators send it to you by email.

When you start the app for the first time, it asks you to scan the QR code. After that you are logged in.

Caution

The QR code is personal. Anyone who scans it captures documents in your name. Do not pass it on and do not show it in screen shares.

Display the QR code in invoiceR

1. Log in to invoiceR in your browser.
2. Click your user name in the top right corner.
3. Select Mobile App.
4. The window shows the links to the app stores and your QR code below them.
5. Start the app on your smartphone and scan the QR code.
6. Close the window with Close.

If the Mobile App entry is missing from the menu, the app is not yet set up for your user. In that case, contact your internal administrators.

Receive the QR code by email

So that users do not have to log in in the browser first, your administrators can also send the QR code by email. The email contains the links to the app stores and the QR code. Open the email, for example on your computer, and scan the code with the app.

Tip

If the QR code image is not shown in the email, open the email in a different email program.

For administrators: send the QR code

1. Open Administration > Users.
2. Click Actions for the user.
3. Select Send App QR Login.

The user receives the email immediately. For this to work, the user must have an email address. You only see the menu item if you have the corresponding permission.
